The Archives Portal Europe network of eXellence (APEx) project is a EU co-funded project which ran from March 2012 till 30 September 2015. The APEx project is a follow-up of the APEnet project that was aimed at aggregating archival content in Europeana and creating the Archives Portal Europe (APE). APEnet was initiated by the European Board of National Archivists (EBNA). 15 of the 22 Cesars awarded this weekend went to 8 EU Media supported films, among the most successful were Mustang by Deniz Gamze Ergüven, and Marguerite by Xavier Giannoli. For the 4th consecutive year, the Oscar to Best Foreign Language Film went to a MEDIA supported film, Son of Saul. Another EU co-funded film, Amy, won the Oscar for Best Documentary. Read more
