Do you know what is PEPPOL? It is a system that enables the connection of eProcurement communities allowing private sector to bid for public sector contracts from anywhere in Europe. The project ended in 2012 and the OpenPEPPOL Association -with public and private members- took over. Its specifications have been implemented across Europe. e-CODEX is a Large Scale Pilot project co-funded by the European Commission under CIP-PSP.
The goal of the e-CODEX project is to improve the cross-border access of citizens and businesses to legal means in Europe as well as to improve the interoperability between legal authorities within the EU.
The video showcases the epSOS ePrescription service where medication for an Italian citizen is dispensed in Greece.
Business and usage opportunities that are created by the Large Scale Pilot (LSP) projects for digital public services will be discussed. The event will give an insight on how to be active participants in the coming developments of new Pan-European cross border public services.
