Select4Cities published the call for tenders for its Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP). The PCP is powered by the cities of Antwerp, Helsinki and Copenhagen. The European Commission will launch soon a call for tenders for a service contract of a maximum value of EUR 60 000.
The purpose of this call for tenders is to gain insights into the current data-related situation (taxonomy, mapping, gap analysis, players, market structure, business models, applicable legislation, bottlenecks and their cause) in the context of the adoption and application of smart mobility solutions for cities, communities and local stakeholders. New EU wide rules will abolish the current requirement to have an authenticity stamp on public documents (such as birth or marriage certificates) issued in one EU country before presenting them to a public authority in another EU country. If the receiving authority has serious doubts about the authenticity of a public document presented by a citizen, it will be able to consult the issuing authority through the Internal Market Information system (IMI) for back-office verification between authorities, a solution developed under the EU funded ISA programme.
