This new study on Women in Digital Age reports that there is a growing gap between men and women's participation in the digital sector in education, career and entrepreneurship.

Following the publication of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom set of calls to support eIdentification and eSignature, Europeana and Safer internet, a virtual Info Day to present the funding opportunities under these priorities will be organised on Thursday 8 March from 10:00 to 12:50, Brussels time.

The Graphene Flagship organises a new edition of the "Women in Graphene" workshops which seek to give female researchers inside the project –and also outside the project - the chance to discuss their research and the situation for women in the field.

EU legislation in the field of the provision of information society services, in particular Directive 2000/31/EC (Directive on electronic commerce) and Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 on open internet, will no longer apply to the United Kingdom.

On January 18th, 13 participants joined the European Commission and study team supporting the European Commission’s Review of the PSI Directive for a high-level discussion on the public-sector information re-use within the current legislative framework.

On the occasion of the International Women's Day today, Commissioner Mariya Gabriel in charge of Digital Economy and Society outlined her strategy to implement actions that will facilitate an increase in the participation of women in the digital sector. The actions will focus on three main areas: challenging stereotypes; promoting digital skills and education and advocating for more women entrepreneurs.
