The EGI services can be requested by everyone involved in research and innovation from both the public and private sector.
GÉANT, the UbuntuNet Alliance, and Indiana University co-lead a $3.25M grant to improve research collaborations between Europe, Africa, and the US. Improved intercontinental networks will support critical research in food security, environment preservation, and HIV treatment. Read more

The expert group on Quantum Technologies, with QUTE-EUROPE, organises a community‐wide workshop to provide stakeholders from industry and academia with an opportunity to give input into the expert group discussions. The European Commission awarded the first two Horizon Prizes to innovators who delivered breakthrough solutions in "collaborative spectrum sharing" and "breaking the optical transmission barriers". Each of the projects will receive €500.000. Read more
The project has now selected the successful bidders of the €5.3 million joint Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) tender. They will submit European hybrid cloud platform proposals for the deployment of high-performance computing and big-data capabilities for scientific research. Read more
