The rules will reflect new ways in which Europeans enjoy culture and entertainment services online when they travel around the EU. Europeans will soon be able to fully use their online subscriptions to films, sports events, e-books, video games or music services when travelling within the EU, according to the agreement reached by negotiators of the European Parliament, the Member States and the European Commission. At this workshop the global dynamics of IoT standardisation and existing initiatives were briefly presented. The participants got a thorough understanding of the IoT market needs and requirements around standards. In addition, they had the chance to actively contribute to the ongoing EU discussion on the future Internet of Things standards. The eDelivery Cost Estimation tool is now available to assess and quantify the expected benefits of reusing CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) eDelivery.
This tool can be used by any type of project considering the reuse of eDelivery. There are significant benefits of reusing eDelivery from reduced risk and costs to improved quality. These benefits are key elements to every business case, and are therefore decisive factors in the decision of projects or policy domains to use CEF eDelivery.
The significant socio-economic costs of stroke coupled with the rise in Europe's ageing population, highlights the need for effective but affordable stroke rehabilitation programmes. EU researchers made considerable headway in this regard through novel rehabilitation paradigms. Read more
