PAL robot

The PAL project and its eHealth and mHealth tools (a social robot, its avatar and an app) provide support to children with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) and their parents. The project already received a lot of positive feedback, according to project coordinator Rosemarijn Looije in her blog post. Read more

The European Commission will launch soon a call for tenders for a service contract of a maximum value of EUR 60 000. The purpose of this call for tenders is to gain insights into the current data-related situation (taxonomy, mapping, gap analysis, players, market structure, business models, applicable legislation, bottlenecks and their cause) in the context of the adoption and application of smart mobility solutions for cities, communities and local stakeholders. In accordance with the Regulation establishing Horizon 2020, the Commission, assisted by independent experts selected on the basis of a transparent process, shall carry out by the end of 2017 an interim evaluation of Horizon 2020. This interim evaluation will address questions of efficiency, effectiveness, EU added value, relevance and coherence. Read more
