The list of the new H2020 project in robotics from Call 2 2015 and the call under Factory of the Future 2015 is now ready. It includes 21 new projects within the domains healthcare, transport and logistics, consumer and construction and inspection, as well as the two smart factory projects. Over 120 companies, institutes and universities will benefit from the H2020 programme this time.

The EU is co-funding 19 new projects in robotics under Horizon 2020 Call 2 and two new projects for the Factory of the Future. In total, there will be 11 research & innovation actions focusing on the development of abilities and key technologies relevant for industrial and service robotics. There are 9 innovation actions aiming at introducing, testing and validating innovative solutions in a real-world context and one coordination action. The maximum funding to help cover the cost for the consortia working on the projects amounts to € 98.7 million in total spread over 2-5 years.
