Proposals must be submitted electronically using the EPSS (Electronic Proposal Submission Service). The EPSS allows you to complete the necessary forms and upload your proposal to a server where it is securely stored. You will continue to have access to this data allowing you to modify the proposal up until the deadline.
You can access the Calls for Proposals page containing the EPSS links here. Simply choose which type of proposal you want to apply for, click on the link and register. You will receive a login and password as well as instructions explaining how to submit your proposal. You can then complete the Part A forms (administrative and budgetary data) and upload Part B (the written proposal). Once your proposal is ready, remember to press the "SUBMIT" button to complete the submission.
Background to the ICT PSP Calls for Proposals
There are three different types of funding instruments: Pilot Type A, Pilot Type B and Thematic Networks.
- Pilot Type A projects are aimed at national administrations (or designated legal entity) from the EU Member States or associated countries and should result in open and interoperable services across countries.
- Pilot Type B projects aim at implementing innovative, ICT-based services, which address the needs of people, governments and businesses.
- Thematic Networks provide a forum for interested parties to exchange experience and information on ICT-enabled solutions and to coordinate ongoing activities.
These instruments are defined in detail in the Work Programme.
The deadline is 23 October 2007 at 17.00. After this time, access to the EPSS for this call will not be possible. Don't leave it to the last minute to start uploading your proposal - you risk missing the submission deadline!
