The upcoming edition of the "Going Local Portugal" initiative will take place on December 12th 2013 (http://www.fct.pt/noticias/index.phtml.pt?id=48&/2013/11/4ª_edição_do_Going_Local_Portugal,_em_Lisboa). The venue is at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, Centro Ciência Viva (http://www.pavconhecimento.pt/visite-nos/informacoes-gerais/?lang=2) in Lisbon.
The aim of the Going Local initiative is, in the context of the Digital Agenda for Europe, to strengthen the dialogue with the stakeholders in Member States. The Digital Agenda for Europe is a key flagship within Europe 2020 with the highest potential to increase competitiveness and growth in Europe.
Main points of the agenda: state of play of the Digital Agenda, Europe and Portugal; cloud computing as an engine to the economic growth; entrepreneurship, innovation and internationalization.
The event is co-organised by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, the European Commission and the Digital Champion for Portugal.
Participation is free of charge but the pre-registration (e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org) is required.
