The European Commission will soon launch the following call for tender for a service contract of a maximum value of EUR 60.000.
Negotiated procedure: "Final evaluation of the multiannual EU programme on protecting children using the Internet and other communication technologies (the Safer Internet Programme)"
This publication is made pursuant to Article 124.1 (b) of the Rules of Application of the Financial Regulation that provides for an ex ante publication on the Institutions' websites of contracts with a value up to 60.000 EUR.
Only the candidates invited by the contracting authority to participate in the procedure for awarding this low value contract will be admissible.
Purpose of this call for tenders:
The purpose of this call is to gather and to analyse quantitative and qualitative evidence of the implementation of the Safer Internet programme concerning relevance, efficiency, effectiveness as well as its broader impacts and sustainability. This will be done based on the methodology for data collection and analysis to be proposed by the tenderer, and it should build on, and take into account, the interim evaluation which was carried out at mid-term of the programme.
The findings of the evaluation will result in a report which will be communicated to the relevant institutions as is required by the decision 1351/2008/EC of 16.12.2008 by the European Parliament and by the Council establishing the programme.
