Call for Photonics experts

The European Commission is looking for new independent experts to assist with research and innovation assignments including the evaluation of proposals, monitoring of projects, and evaluation of programmes.

Within the Photonics Unit we are continuously searching for new experts in particular from industry and female experts in the fields listed below:

  • laser based manufacturing/additive manufacturing
  • biophotonics
  • photonics sensors
  • photonics integrated circuits
  • LED lighting
  • Organic LEDs
  • displays
  • thin and organic large area electronics (TOLAE)
  • optical data communication
  • photonics wearables

We would be delighted if you would register in the European Commission EXPERT DATABASE, specifically indicating Photonics as your field of expertise, and further specifying you particular area of experience.

At the European Commission we are aware of the outstanding contribution that women are bringing to the field of Photonics and the Commission has got a political target to reach 40% women experts in the activities of Horizon 2020, from evaluating to reviewing projects and participating in panels and workshops.
