A workshop on the development and take-up of advanced ICT technologies for healthcare took place on 20/11/2013. The presentations are now available.

The meeting addressed key challenges to accelerate the deployment of advanced technologies to solve urgent health-related problems and draft recommendations for the work programs in H2020, e.g.:
  • To enable research and innovation oriented along unmet medical needs;
  • To introduce selected technology solutions which are on the verge to become products or gained product status very recently.
The presentations from the workshop  focused on topics like "medical needs for early diagnosis", "patient monitoring & therapy", "needs from public health authorities", "technology road mapping on bioelectronics/MNBS and biophotonics", "nanomedicine roadmap and vision in Medical Imaging and in-vitro diagnostics", as well as future opportunities under Horizon2020.
