The European Union's Creative Europe programme funded 30 of the films shortlisted for the Cesars awards in France. The nominations were another opportunity to look back on a year full of stories and successes, which saw many European films cross borders and score high box office performances on non-national markets (Youth, The Brand New Testament, Mustang…)
