Public-Private Partnership on Cyber: Join and boost your visibility

Room 2.44, 04/12/2018 (16:00-16:45)

The significance of cyber security is an ever-growing issue with political, societal and economic implications. The need for a trustworthy and competitive European cyber security ecosystem is therefore well recognised. In 2016, the European Commission (EC) and the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) established a contractual public-private partnership (cPPP) on cyber security and ECSO now unites more than 240 member-organisations from the private and the public sector across Europe. ECSO not only identifies R&I priorities on cyber security in support of the cPPP implementation but also addresses industrial policy issues to support the Digital Single Market. During this networking session, ECSO will invite participants to interact and discuss the following topics: the common and vertical domain challenges, end-users’/operators’ requirements and their capability needs (including skilled experts, training, etc); the ECSO vision on testing, assessment and certification for cyber security; the short- and long-term R&I priorities to build and sustain the European cyber security ecosystem; and the strategies to support the development of the European market and provide visibility to the European cyber security solutions. More about ECSO: www.ecs-org.eu

Join us at this networking session to learn more about the cPPP on cyber security and how you can get involved!

Organised by: Roberto CASCELLA (European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), Belgium)
