Supercomputers & Silicon Brains: the Human Brain Project networking session
Room 1.61-1.62, 05/12/2018 (11:30-12:15)
The Human Brain Project (HBP) is an EU-supported FET Flagship Project aiming at understanding "how the brain works" and "what and how it does not work in the diseased brain". For this purpose, it is building an ICT Research Infrastructure that will allow researchers worldwide to work together and accelerate advancements in the fields of neuroscience, computing and brain-related medicine. The Human Brain Project is organising a networking session to engage participants into a discussion and explore different collaboration opportunities.
The aim of the session is to inform participants about the Human Brain Project’s innovative and interdisciplinary Research Infrastructure, as well as to grow the existing base of active users.
It will lay the foundation for potential new collaborations across disciplines and increase outreach and awareness of the HBP’s tools and results.
