WEAR Sustain pitches to corporate partners and investors
Room 1.61-1.62, 05/12/2018 (17:30-19:00)
The WEAR Sustain project is a 3M euro Innovation action which aims to develop a sustainable European network of stakeholders and hubs, to connect and push the boundaries in the design and development of wearables. Following a rigorous selection process, an international jury has selected 46 teams in two open calls to develop their prototypes and bring them closer to market during a six month incubation period with funding from the WEAR Sustain project (50K euro per team) and support from the WEAR Sustain network of mentors, hubs and other organisations.
The objective of the proposed session is to demonstrate the potential of arts and technology collaboration to create new sustainable products and help teams take their projects to market. This would be done by supporting some of the best WEAR teams that have been funded to capitalize on their success so far, by pitching to and networking with potential corporate partners, investors and business angels. The session agenda, WEAR Sustain teams pitching (with information about each of them), and the international Jury are listed in the attached PDF file.
