Georg Raab is a project manager working on COSME Financial Instruments at the European Commission. He was co-responsible for drafting the EU Action Plan to improve access to finance for SMEs. In the Commission, he previously worked in the area of Information and Communications technologies having been co-responsible the EU strategy for key enabling technologies. Before joining the Commission, he held various positions in the financial sector at KPMG, Bank Austria and Unicredit London.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics & Business and a master’s in Business from ESCP Paris and City University London.
