Bleur Art Limited - United Kingdom
After a few years in venture capital responsible for finance and investor reporting of the funds at Beringea LLP, Aurélia Islimye joined Google Campus to set up her own venture. She is the solo founder and CEO of an early stage start-up, Bleur Art, an art platform empowering collectives of emerging artists to tell their stories and sell their art to a new generation of art buyers. She is very involved in the London start-up scene, advising concept-phase start-ups on finance and business strategy, with a heavy focus on social impact.
Aurélia is also Head of Finance at Breaking Barriers, the most innovative charity start-up in London, helping refugees rebuild their lives and find meaningful employment. Prior to working in venture capital, Aurélia started her career in audit at a prestigious accountancy firm, where she qualified as a chartered accountant and specialised in the audit of art galleries and dealers across the UK.
Aurélia has an MSc from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from King’s College London.
