Pedro Rocha is currently the Manager of PRODUTECH - Production Technologies Cluster (Portuguese National Cluster). Graduated economist, with studies in Economics and Management of Science, Technology and Innovation and specialized training in Intellectual Property Rights.
From 1998 till 2010 he assumed functions at CENTIMFE - Portuguese Technological Center for Mouldmaking Special Tooling and Plastics as consultant in collaborative R&D and Innovation projects and assuming responsibilities at the coordination bureaus of National and European projects (including the European Integrated EUROTOOLING 21); manager of the Intelectual Property Promotion Office of CENTIMFE; and responsible for initiatives towards the launch of new R&D and innovation projects, both national and European.
Starting 2011, he assumed the coordination of R&D, Networking and Knowledge Valorisation activities at PRODUTECH including the co-coordination of the R&D, Innovation and Demonstration umbrella of the Multi-annual action programme of the cluster.
Member of the Steering Committees of the Vanguard’s Pilot Actions "High Performance Production through 3D Printing" and “Efficient and Sustainable Manufacturing”. Member of the Advisory Board of FABTEC - Laboratory of Processes and Technologies for Advanced Manufacturing. Member executive board of the PORTUGALClusters partnership (gathering 16 portuguese clusters).
