Cédric Daumas has over 15 years’ experience of working in the EU sphere in Brussels. After graduating a BA in Modern Languages (English, Spanish) and International Business at the University of Avignon (France), he graduated a Masters in European Studies from the University of Provence, Aix-en-Provence (France) within which he followed the European Studies programme of the University of Turku, Finland (under the direction of Prof. Esko Antola, Jean Monnet Chair) under the ERASMUS scheme.
In 2001, he joined Scotland Europa, the Scottish Enterprise Brussels office office, where he worked for 18 month.
Since September 2003, he has joined the Ile-de-France Region EU office in Brussels where he is the EU Policy Adviser responsible for Research & Innovation, digital agenda, SMEs, Internal market and Competition policies.
In particular he is very much involved in the activities of the ERRIN network (European Regions Research & Innovation Network) gathering more than 120 regions from the EU28 and beyond active in R&I.
