The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Governance Board met for the first time in Buccarest on 28 January 2019. The meeting organised under the patronage of the Presidency of Romania brought together more than 50 delegates of the EU Member States and countries associated to Horizon 2020, the European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

The High Level Expert Group on the European Open science Cloud has published its first report on the European Open Science Cloud including a set of recommendations for further reflection and engagement of scientific user communities, research funders and Member States in the making of the initiative.
