    According to a new report of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), 21 EU/EEA countries have developed or are in the process of developing systems to digitally record information about vaccination. Five of these digital systems automatically generate lists that identify the to be vaccinated populations, determine which vaccines are due or overdue, and generate reminders.

The study which engaged information security officers from more than ten hospitals across the EU, depicts the smart hospital ICT ecosystem. Through a risk based approach it focuses on relevant threats and vulnerabilities, analyses attack scenarios, and maps common good practices.
