During the Innovation in Medicine and Healthcare Conference (InMed 2017) the European DESIREE project will hold a workshop for both experts and interested non-experts on Smart Medical and Healthcare Systems.

The aim of the workshop is to gather a multi-disciplinary group of experts such as smart systems researchers and engineers, practitioners from the medical arena, managers, students and interested non-experts. They will discuss the ways that intelligent systems and smart technology can be applied to issues relating to medicine, surgery and health care.
