The team of FI-Guardian was awarded with the 'Smart Cities' prize at the Campus Party 2014 in Brazil and quoted by Neelie Kroes in her inaugural speech at the Future Internet Assembly in Athens (18-20 March).

Marco Marinho Marconi, member of the team who developed FI-Guardian, was interviewed by the Brasilian television Globo TV.

FI-Guardian was awarded with the Smart Cities Prize during the finals of the FI-WARE challenges at Campus Party 2014 in Brazil.The aim of the application is to help intelligent cities become more resistant, aiding in communication, orientation and warning of adverse circumstances such as natural disasters.

The successul achievement of FI-Guardian was highlighted by Neelie Kroes during her inaugurial speech at the Future Internet Assemby on 18th March in Athens.
