A call for tenders is launched by the European Commission for a service contract of a maximum value of EUR 200 000. The objective of the study is to examine the synergies between the civilian and the defence cybersecurity markets.

In order to overcome this market fragmentation and to help European industry there is the need to identify a number of issues that will aid the European Institutions, Agencies and Member States shape their future R&D and industrial policies. This will also assist in the planning of the H2020 research program, the cyber security strategy and their implementation in cooperation with DG HOME, DG ENTR, the European External Action Service and ENISA.

The objectives of the study are to analyse in-depth and to describe in detail the cyber security requirements of the civilian market and of the defence market in the European Union.
