The European Commission is currently calling for tenders to carry out a study to collect retail broadband prices in Europe, 2019-2021 (study reference: SMART 2019/0018).

The subject matter of the contract is to collect retail services price information on fixed, mobile broadband, voice and TV services in a standardised and comparable way across all EU Member States and a selected number of third countries on yearly basis for the period 2019-2021.

The study will first develop a price data collection since it has to report on the retail prices of fixed, mobile broadband, voice services and TV of a selected number of operators in each market to find the least expensive offer for a standalone and a selection of household consumption baskets with different consumption patterns.

This data and related analysis is published every year in the Digital Scoreboard. A selection of indicators is also part of the Digital Society and Economy Index (DESI) and related horizontal and country analysis.

The maximum amount allocated to the study is EUR 600 000.

The deadline to send your tender is 15 April 2019 at 16h00.
