Monitoring data flows across EU Member States and EFTA countries is of the utmost strategic importance to inform EU decision-making in the area of cloud computing and assess the competitiveness of the European digital economy against other regional economic powers

The proposed study will aim to map the current state of data flows in an interactive and digitally enabled way.

Based on a comprehensive quantitative analysis of data flows, the study needs to strategically analyse the main existing data flow corridors across the EU while predicting future patterns related to the latter for the coming years.

The study will therefore contribute to inform on current and future patterns of flows of non-personal data across the EU territory and foster the free movement of non-personal data principle within the EU economy.

The maximum amount allocated to the study is EUR 200 000.
