This is the first annual report on Open Innovation for Services published by OISPG and the European Commission's Directory General Information Society and Media. The report focuses on new ICT enabled innovation pradigms for services, notably on knowledge intense services in various fields, says Florin Lupescu, Director Information Society and Media's Directorate H - ICT Addressing Societal Challenges. Interesting strategy and policy views as well as successful business examples of Open Service Innovation are illustrated. In addition the Yearbook contains country reports from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland on their Open Innovation experiences.
