The ISA² Programme of the European Commission is organising a mid-term conference on 29 November 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. The programme, running from 2016 to 2020, is reaching its midway point and the event will be an opportunity to discuss what has been already achieved, the tasks for the upcoming years and the future of the programme beyond 2020.

ISA² Mid-term Conference

The conference will gather representatives from public administrations in EU countries and EU institutions, as well as from the private sector.

ISA² programme supports the development of digital interoperability solutions that enable public administrations, businesses and citizens in Europe to benefit from cross-border and cross-sector public services. So far 25 solutions have been developed and others are on the way.

Activities under the programme contribute to the implementation of the new European Interoperability Framework adopted in March 2017. The document gives public administrations 47 concrete recommendations on how to set up interoperable digital public services. The EU Member States have committed to fulfil the vision laid out in the framework by signing the Tallinn Declaration on eGovernment in October last year.
