The EFFRA has launched a public consultation on the ‘Factories of the Future’ work programme 2018-2020 as part of its preparations for strategic discussions with the European Commission.

Photonics Stakeholders are strongly encouraged to provide their views on the public consultation via the EFFRA website.

EFFRA will use this input to compile a roadmap document complementing the FoF2020 roadmap, entitled 'Factories 4.0 and beyond' that will be delivered to the European Commission as a contribution to the preparation of the FoF PPP work programme 18-19-20.

EFFRA is an industry-driven association promoting pre-competitive research on production technologies within the European Research Area by engaging in 'Factories of the Future' contractual public-private partnership.

‘Factories of the Future’ brings private and public resources together by launching market-orientated cross-border projects producing demonstrators and models which are applied in a wide range of manufacturing sectors.
