The work on international standardisation of statistics and indicators for measuring Open Access is still in its early stages of development. As more funder policies require research output to be publicly available; researchers, research managers and publishers are increasingly interested in the effects Open Access can have on their results.
How can researchers determine the effects of their research with more accuracy than just the impact factor of a journal? And how can they demonstrate that their research outputs have reached and influenced their colleagues and society at large?
The programme consists of a number of varied presentations, bringing together speakers with different experiences and providing an overview of initiatives and a forum for discussion.
