As a follow up to the Green Paper on mobile health, the European Commission has envisaged to engage with the stakeholders to work on the follow-up actions building on the results of the public consultation.

The first open mHealth stakeholder meeting took place on the 12th of May 2015 in Riga. Follow-up actions in the field of mHealth were discussed at the meeting focussing in particular on privacy and security, safety and transparency and web entrepreneurs' access to the market. The next stakeholder meeting took place on the 6th of July 2015 in Brussels.

The first part of the meeting (10:00-13:00) focussed on the need to ensure quality and reliability of health and wellbeing apps.
