The Silver Economy Awards, which will take place on 3 May 2018 in Brussels, Belgium, promote and reward innovative solutions to improve the quality of life for over 50s. The Awards are an opportunity to raise awareness around the Silver Economy, which includes all economic activities that concern older adults and meet their demands and requirements.

The awards will illustrate the variety of the consumer markets and the public spending involved and the size of the opportunities available for entrepreneurs, investors, public authorities and civil society.

The three categories that will be awarded are:

  • Profit organisations
  • Public authorities
  • Non-profit organisations

The Silver Economy Awards are organised by the EU-funded SEED project, which aims to celebrate innovative ICT related products or services, in all sectors that help to improve the quality of life of senior citizens, and to raise awareness of and strengthen the European Silver Economy.
