ELIXIR unites Europe’s leading life science organisations in managing and safeguarding the increasing volume of data being generated by publicly funded research.

During its launch event, members from the ELIXIR Hub and ELIXIR-LU will present the European infrastructure, the Luxembourg Node and its objectives, as well as ongoing projects.

Guest speakers from ministries, research institutions, industry and patients’ association will address challenges associated with translational medicine data, the new data protection legislation and perspectives of the industry and patients on sharing biomedical data. The event will close with a reception, offering ample time for networking and discussion.
