A number of topics will be covered next year, including some that have never been called for before in the Horizon 2020 programme, like holographic displays, energy harvesting and research tools in Biophotonics. Opportunities are still availble also for the "classic" topics, like sensing devices and Photonics Integrated Circuits.  This year a call for a specific Photonics Innovation Hub has also been launched. Do not miss the opportunity of having your activities funded! Deadline for submission is 22 April 2020.

In order to find the Workprogramme text, which is the sole authoritative text, please go to the European Commission Funding and Tender Opportunity Portal  and search for “photonics” and/or the heading of the call, e.g. “ICT-36-2020”

The calls were presented in detail during the ICTproposers day in Helsinki, the slides are attached. Therefore, this year there is no specific Infoday planned.

If you intend to submit a proposal, we suggest you monitor the Call/Topic website for updates and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs),

We are looking forward to receiving very high quality proposals that will contribute to Europe's competitiveness and help solve societal challenges.
