During two public pitching sessions on Thursday morning (9 November), the 20 shortlisted candidates will present their market ambitions with their EU-funded tech projects to a jury of experts. The candidates compete in 5 different categories: Industrial & Enabling Tech, Excellent Science, Best Young SME, Tech for Society and Best Early Stage Innovation. The jury will decide on one winner from each category, and an overall winner who will be featured on a Euronews programme about their innovation and its market potential.
An awards ceremony will take place in the afternoon to present the winners with their prizes, and celebrate EU-funded innovation and entrepreneurship.
ICT Proposers' Day provides an excellent opportunity for interested participants to meet Innovation Radar finalists and learn about the added value of thinking about innovation early on in the research and innovation project as well as the perks and bottlenecks of bringing EU-funded innovation to the market.
The organizers also encourage participants to share their experiences in research and innovation to continuously improve the Innovation Radar project.
