Citizens’ digital health literacy is an essential element for successful eHealth deployment. A lack of skills prevents them to find, understand and appraise online health information and apply their knowledge to make health decisions. Literate citizens can play a more active role in health self management, resulting in improved prevention, adherence to a healthier lifestyle and better health outcomes. The IC-Health final conference will offer panel discussions focused on digital health literacy. The project will present the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) co-created by experts and users.
