The session on VREs and eInfrastructure skills will firstly address virtual working environments which are used by research communities across scientific disciplines. Such cross-disciplinary VREs are enabled by e-infrastructures which permit remote access and use of data, computing, networking and research resources in a virtual context (instrument: RIA. Secondly it will look at development of curricula and trainings, including the skills and competences needed for e-Infrastructure operators, research technologists, data scientists and data librarians.
