The Geo-blocking regulation addresses the problem of customers not being able to buy goods and services from traders located in a different Member State for reasons related to their nationality, place of residence or place of establishment.

The Commission services issued the following Questions & Answers document which aims at providing practical guidance on the main provisions of the Geo-blocking Regulation in view of its entry into force and the more general evolution of certain aspects of the EU e-commerce framework. This document which extends the Q&As released on 22 March 2018, is addressed to traders, consumers and Member States.
