The FP7 post-grant Open Access pilot, run by OpenAIRE, will be extended for another 10 months, until end of February 2018. The pilot supports Open Access publications arising from finished FP7 projects.

A pilot funding instrument was initiated to support Open Access publication after the end of FP7 projects. The first phase of the Pilot closed on April 30th and is now extended by 10 months, ending on February 28th, 2018.

Rules and eligibility criteria have not changed and will be applied to all projects requesting funds. The maximum amount of publications that will be funded per project remains 3 - and this for both phases of the pilot combined.
