This publication is made pursuant to Article 124.1 (b) of the Rules of Application of the Financial Regulation that provides for an ex-ante publication on the Institutions' websites of contracts with a value up to 60.000 EUR.

Purpose of this call for tenders:

The European Commission will launch several calls for tenders during 2015 for service contracts on tasks in support of identification of technical specification according to article 13 of EU regulation 1025/2012 with a maximum value per contract of EUR 15.000.
The purpose of these calls for tenders is the new regulatory framework on European ICT standardisation  provided by the Regulation EU No 1025/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on European standardisation and the Commission Decision of 28 November 2011 setting up the European multi-stakeholder platform on ICT standardisation (from now on “the Platform”) defining several actions related to ICT standardisation where the contribution of standardisation experts could be valuable support to Commission services, such as:
  • Support to the identification process of ICT technical specifications eligible for technical referencing, including the consultation process.
  • Support to any other activity of the Platform.
  • Carry out of (short) analysis, studies of issues related to European ICT standardisation at Commission's request.
