This publication is made pursuant to Article 124.1 (b) of the Rules of Application of the Financial Regulation that provides for an ex-ante publication on the Institutions' websites of contracts with a value up to 60.000 EUR. Only the candidates invited by the contracting authority to participate in the procedure for awarding this low value contract will be admissible.

The European Commission will launch soon a call for tenders for a service contract of a maximum value of EUR 24 000.

The purpose of this call for tenders is: The exchange of best legislative practices, the identification of common practices, topics and challenges and the approximation of legislation in the field of e-communications with that of the EU is an integrated part of the EU’s policy approach towards neighbouring and non-neighbouring third countries. Specifically in the field of electronic communications, the regulatory framework for electronic communications in the EU as last revised in 2009 forms the main acquis reference for those areas where legislation exists. To support the monitoring and evaluation process involved in this process, DG CNECT is seeking a subscription-based internal support tool to complement its further information sources for MENA countries and countries in South America.
