The European Nanoelectronics Forum will be held at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona on 27-28 November 2013.

Situated in a different city each year, the European Nanoelectronics Forum is jointly organised by the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme, the Eureka Cluster CATRENE and the ENIAC Joint Undertaking. Together, they represent the most important European initiatives for cooperative Research & Development in Nanoelectronics.

Micro/nanoelectronic components and systems are not only essential to digital products and services; they also underpin innovation and competitiveness of all major economic sectors. Today's cars, planes, and trains are safer, more energy-efficient and comfortable thanks to their electronic parts. The same holds for large sectors like medical and health equipment, home appliances, energy networks and security systems.
