‘Our Digital Future’
This unique conference brings together representatives from across the Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) community, and is specifically designed to create a stimulating environment that encourages the collaborative innovation that will boost the Digital Economy in Europe. Through informative presentations, discussion panels, Pre-Brokerage activities and an exhibition of projects and funding instruments, EFECS will allow participants to meet their peers, be updated on the latest technology developments and engage in the discussions that can lead to the creation of new collaborative RD&I projects.
The 3-day event brings together all ECS stakeholders and provides numerous opportunities to learn more about the latest developments, cooperation and funding possibilities in the ECS. EFECS highlights are:
Day 1 - Impact of ECS Collaborative R&D&I on Europe's Future
- Participants will have the opportunity to listen to keynotes and presentations from running initiatives on the state-of-the-art innovation and also learn about various possibilities to establish effective and fruitful collaboration in the ECS field in the future. Learn more about the latest funding landscape developments and trends.
Day 2 - ECS Strategy development and Stakeholder Forum
- EFECS features visionary keynotes in which the expectations, opportunities and challenges of 'Our Digital Future' are elaborated. ECS-SRA sessions will explore the Strategic Research Agenda, the technology roadmap that must be followed if Europe is to compete effectively in global markets and address societal needs.
Day 3 - Pre-Brokerage Session for networking and consortium building
- The Pre-Brokerage Session will be the starting point to meet people and build consortiums, and will help prepare for the ECSEL, H2020 and PENTA Calls. Network, pitch and present ideas to a broad audience!

Interested in presenting a new project idea? Check out the possibilities to present a project idea via a poster at the exhibition and/or pitch at the Pre-Brokerage Session. Moreover, the ECS Collaboration Tool will help build consortia and establish cooperation already prior to the event.
