After two very successful editions of the EU Film Contest, Creative Europe MEDIA decided to run a similar quiz for European film lovers to win a trip to the European Film Awards taking place in December in Seville.

The contest

Launched in mid-September, the #efa2018 quiz was running online for several weeks, until 5 November. Participants had to answer 10 questions about European films for a chance to win one of the ten trips to experience the European Film Awards and discover European cinema from a different perspective. Almost 2000 people took part in the competition and among those 164 who replied correctly, we used a filtering question to select the 10 lucky winners. Congratulations to all of them!

The winners

The winners will travel to Seville from 14 to 16 December and will attend the 31st edition of the European Film Awards. They will go to the screenings of EFA nominated films, have the chance to explore a bit the city and attend the official awards ceremony, among other activities.

We would like to thank the MEDIA desks for their cooperation to make this edition a success, and in particular to the Creative Europe Desk Berlin-Brandenburg, who led the initiative.
