The ranking as selected by the public is:

Ranking
EU Safe logo B – EUSAFE – 432 votes
ELSE logo A – ELSE – 227 votes
Noblesse Oblige logo C - Noblesse Oblige – 154 votes

What's next?

The winning design will be chosen by a jury, taking into account the public vote.

We will announce the winner in spring 2015.

Before making that final announcement we need to go through some formal steps, such as registering the winning design as an EU trademark, and adopting the implementing acts which will make the winning design official!

Award Ceremony

The winner and the runners up will be honoured at an official award ceremony that will take place in Brussels in April 2015. The three finalists will receive prizes of €5,000, €3,500 and €1,500.

The winner will have his/her logo on the websites of qualified trust service providers and will help make trust grow in the internet and online services.

Background

The e-Mark U Trust Competition was launched on 3 July 2014. The e-Mark U Trust Competition invited European design/art students to submit their most innovative designs. Students from all over the European Union were invited to design a simple, original and clever trustmark which conveys a sense of trust and reassurance and indicates that Internet users can carry out their online transactions in a safe, convenient and secure way.

95 logos were submitted within the deadline.

A jury of experts have selected the three logos according to their expertise and to the criteria indicated in the e-Mark U Trust Competition technical and design specifications.
