ICT 2018, co-organised by the European Commission and the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU, took place from 4-6 December in Vienna. With over 6000 participants from 120 countries, over 100 speakers and more than 130 exhibitors this edition of the ICT event was the largest ever.

A highlight of the conference was the Innovation Radar awards ceremony on the last day, awarding the best innovations originating from EU-funded projects. Three out of the six laureates are involved in healthcare.
