56 projects applied for the CEF Telecom 2017-3 call, requesting over EUR 44 million of EU funding. The call closed on the 28th of November and has a total available budget of EUR 24 million.

The CEF Telecom 2017-3 call closed on the 28th of November. INEA received 56 project proposals requesting over EUR 44 million in total. The project proposals will now go through an admissibility and eligibility assessment and then will be evaluated against the specific award criteria of the calls. This process will involve external experts and should be concluded in April 2018. The final results will be annouced after the evaluation is concluded.

CEF Telecom funding is dedicated to Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs) delivering networked cross-border services for citizens, businesses and public administrations. Supported projects will contribute to improving the competitiveness of the European economy, promoting the interconnection and interoperability of national, regional and local networks and access to these networks, thus supporting the development of a Digital Single Market. CEF Telecom has an overall budget of EUR 1.04 billion (2014-2020).
