The European Commission, in collaboration with the European Broadband Competence Offices Network (BCO Network), is organising dedicated workshops hosted by individual Member States. These will focus on areas of CEF2 most relevant to each State, and will include briefing sessions with public administrations and private operators about the future funding priorities. Workshops have already taken place in Austria, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Hungary, with the next ones planned for Denmark, Croatia and Belgium in the coming weeks. For more information, contact your national Broadband Competence Office (BCO) through the BCO Network Directory.

EU Study workshop
The European Commission is hosting a study workshop on October 1: “Smart Investments for Smart Communities”. During this workshop, the preliminary results of a study analysing potential market failures in digital infrastructures and assessing which players could benefit from EU subsidies, as well as how funding schemes could be structured and combined with funding and financing from other public and private sources, will be presented. The preliminary results of the CEF2 Digital online public consultation will also be presented and feedback will be sought.
